AnnotationIn this work we study the heating effect of nanoparticles of the cobalt zinc ferrite of the composition Co0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4 as the heat mediator for magnetic fluid hyperthermia especially with the respect to possibility of the self-controlled mechanism of the heating. The specific absorption rate (SAR) at temperature 37 °C measured in the range of the magnetic field parameters (the AC field with maximal amplitudes of 8.8, 7.5 and 6.0 kA×m-1 and frequency of 480 kHz) displayed the values of 36.5, 19.4 and 3.6 W×g-1(Co+Fe), respectively.
