The review provides an overview of a book by D. Filc, which deals with the cosy relationship between populism and the Israeli right. Filc divided his attention among three political movements – Herut/Likud, Shas, Yisrael beitenu. In my assessment, I put foreword some evaluation of the individual chapters first, highlighting key flaws of the book (content, style, methodology) later on in the text
