Morphology and crystal structure of TiNT before, during and/or after thermal treatment was checked by a number of methods, such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected-area electron diffraction (SAED), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Raman microscopy (.mu.RS).
