    AnnotationAn increase in diffusion barriers, manifested bythe decrease of both ADCTMA and ADCW, occurs throughout the entire cortex of the wounded hemisphere. These changes are related to astrogliosis and to an increase in the extracellular matrix without signiificant changes in ECS volume.
