Studie se zabývá vztahem fotografa Josefa Sudka a malíře Emila Filly. Sleduje, jakým způsobem docházelo k interakci obou umělců, a to zejména v otázkách uměleckých. Fillova teorie zátiší se promítají do pojetí zátiší a "kubistického" prostoru fotografií Josefa Sudka. Sudek naproti tomu ovlivnil Fillu v pojetí obrazu jako vzpomínky a současně ve zdůraznění horizontálních formátů na konci 40. a počátku 50. let v Českém Středohoří.

The study deals with the relationship between photographer Josef Sudek and painter Emil Filla. It monitors the interaction between both artists, above all in questions of art. Filla's theory of still life is projected in the concept of still life and the "cubist" space of Josef Sudek's photographs. On the other hand, Sudek influenced Filla in the concept of a picture as a recollection and, at the same time, in the stress on horizontal formats at the end of the 1940s and the beginning of the 1950s in the České Středohoří mountains.
