    AnnotationOn 10–11 September 2020 the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences organized the third international SOLAIR Conference 2020 (Society, Law, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics). The main focus of the conference were Fundamental Rights and Values in the Digital Age from the perspective of use and development of artificial intelligence. The conference was organized jointly by the Institute of State and Law of the CAS, the United Nation’s UNCITRAL, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Microsoft, the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Justice of Japan, and the Japan International Dispute Resolution Center. The conference was organized under the auspices of the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Justice of the State of Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel. Representatives of the international organizations introduced their activities related to regulating artificial intelligence. Speakers from academia introduced selected relevant topics such as AI and liability, AI and dispute resolution, data protection, consumer rights, or merging AI with organic life. The conference also hosted a special side event – an online workshop titled “Dispute Settlement in the Digital Economy” organized jointly by the UNCITRAL, Israel, Japan and the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade. Moreover, the conference hosted a specialized workshop on personalized online content.
