Doslov se váže k českému překladu anglického originálního textu Briana Richardsona o způsobech, jakými se z přirozených (realistických) literárních narativů stávají narativy nepřirozené, nerealistické, deviantní. Doslov zasazuje Richardsonovu práci do širších naratologických souvislostí a ukazuje vztahy mezi jeho přístupem a způsobem uchopení nepřirozených narativů a mezi dalšími naratologickými přístupy. To vše v synchronních i diachronních souvislostech.

The afterword is connected to the Czech translation of an English original text written for the purpose of its Czech publication by Brian Richardson, a text dealing with the ways in which natural (realistic) narratives are transformed to unnatural, non-realistic, deviant narratives. The foreword places Richardson's contribution to broader narratological contexts and reveals the relationship between his approach and the ways of the grasp of unnatural narratives by other theorists and other narratological perspectives.
