Příspěvek vychází z teoretických základů polských prací z etnolingvistiky. Autorka klade důraz na teorii antropocentrismu v přirozeném jazyce, zejména pak na rozdíl mezi konceptem „my“ a „člověk“ v kognitivním chápání světa na jedné straně oproti „oni“ a „ne-člověk“ na druhé straně. Podle této teorie zaujímá pes v českém jazykovém obrazu velmi specifické místo. Hlavní část příspěvku je věnována různým odvozeninám ze základu pes, jejich pozici v lexikálním systému, jejich možným významům, konotacím a stereotypům, které se s nimi pojí.
Description in English
The paper is based on the theoretical principles of the Polish ethnolinguistic works introduced in the first part of this paper. The author pays special attention to the theory of anthropocentrism of a natural language. The main focus of the theory is differentiation between „one’s own“ and „human“ cognitive comprehension of the world on the one hand and „someone else’s“ and „non-human“ one on the other hand. According to this theory, pes (‚a dog‘) has a very special position in Czech. The main part of the paper deals with the expression pes (‚a dog‘) in Czech variations of the derivatives, their position within the lexical system, their semantics, connotations and stereotypes associated with them.
