AnnotationPředneseno na:20th IEEE Pulsed Power Conference,31.05.-04.06.2015, Austin,US, In this work the discharge plasma operated at gas-liquid interface with liquid anode and cathode in glass capillaries was used to study the penetration of plasma from the limited liquid surface (meniscus in the capillary) into the liquid volume. Different aqueous and organic liquids were used (distilled water, conductive aqueous solutions and selected hydrocarbons). High speed shadowgraphy was used as the main diagnostic tool.It has been found that the plasma-liquid boundary remains smooth when the liquid conductivity is significantly larger than the plasma conductivity. In the opposite case, when the plasma conductivity is significantly larger than the liquid conductivity, the distribution of current density on the plasma-liquid boundary is unstable due to liquid evaporation. Any initial surface perturbation means increase of current density in the valley of the perturbation
