Pro lepší využití vápenných technologií bylo třeba: i) identifikovat, dokumentovat a prezentovat zaniklé surovinové zdroje a specifické technologie zpracování vápenného pojiva ve spojení s jejich využitím v historických stavbách, ii) vyvinout a realizovat vápennou pec a zajistit její následné využití pro malovýrobu vápenných pojiv a jejich zpracování tradičními technologiemi, iii) vyvinout, navrhnout a ověřit výrobu a zpracování vápenných pojiv používaných v minulosti s ohledem na možnosti jejich současného použití. Description in English The current State-of-the-Art knowledge was applied in this research project that aimed at the protection of cultural heritage values that are associated with the use of lime as a historical building material. I order to improve the use of lime technologies the following actions were carried out (i) identify, document and present extinct sources of raw materials and specific technologies of lime production and processing in connection with their use in historic buildings, (ii) develop and build a lime kiln and ensure its subsequent use for a small scale production of binders and their processing by traditional technologies, (iii) develop, design and verify production and processing methods of lime binders used in the past with regards to the possible use in the present days.
