The study suggests a dose-depending effect of exposure to nanoparticles of TiO2 and persistence of the particles and their effect in the EBC from previous shifts. The non-invasive collection and analysis of EBC biomarkers appears useful for monitoring effect in workers exposed to TiO2 nanoparticles.
