Annotation	Sarcoidosis and extrinsic allergic alveolitis share certain markers, making a differential diagnosis difficult even with histopathological investigation. Levels of PAR-2, IL-4R, TGF-beta and TNF-alpha in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid can help to distinguish both pulmonary diseases without performing thoracic surgical bioptic examination
