Description in English A device for a quality control of moving linear textile material, especially yarn, on working area of textile machine, that contains light source (1) and digital image sensor (2); between which a working space (31) enabling throughput of linear textile material (3). Between (1) and (31) is situated optical element (6). Optical element is compound of aspherical bi-cylindrical lens, it contains spherical cylindrical surface (61) with an axis parallel with a movement of observed textile material (3) and aspherical cylindrical surface (62) with an axis that is perpendicular to the movement of observed textile material (3).
