The combination of "classical" and "up-to date" analytical techniques spanning from the segmental up to the macroscopic level was found to be the best method. The proper combination of analytical techniques, for example, ss-NMR spectroscopy with SAXS/WAXS analysis or WAXS/TEM, provides a deeper view "inside". Light (SEM) microscopy with atomic force microscopy offers a more precise view "on the surface" of PNCs.
