A new type of composite - PS filter-supported entangled multiwall carbon nanotube network (MWNT/PS) - is introduced as a conductive polymeric material. The filter support increases mechanical integrity of nanotube network and allows its bending without damage of entangled MWNT structure. The electrical resistance of network portion of composite is sensitive to tensile stress both in the course of monotonic stress growth and when loading/unloading cycles are imposed. It indicates favorable properties of MWNT/PS composite for use as stress-electric signal transducers.
