Insecticidal activity of strain of I. fumosorosea isolated from spontaneously infected hibernating pupa of C. ohridella was tested using a single-dosage dip assay. Blastospores, conidia, and no-fungus control treatments averaged 100%, 88%, and 5% mortality of C. ohridella pupae, respectively, after a 3-day continuous exposure.
