    Here we established RT-PCR methodology that could be applied clinically for analysis of RAN, ZHX-2, and CHC1L gene. We search for relevant internal controls for RT-PCR by examining expression of select genes in peripheral blood cells of healthy individuals and in myeloma cell lines. Our preliminary results show that expression of candidate genes should by analyzed in cells of newly diagnosed patients and that expression levels should be compared only in cell populations with identical infiltration of malignant clone to bone marrow.

    U pacientů s onemocněním mnohočetného myelomu má specifický expresní profil genů RAN, ZHX-2, a CHC1L terapeutický význam. Na to, aby mohly být tyto poznatky zavedené do klinické praxe, jsme zjišťovali míru exprese těchto genů na zdravé populaci buněk (mono-nukleárních buněk z periferní krve).
