Annotation
Research carried out over the last 30 years in many countries shows that there exists a relationship between post-materialist values and a wide spectrum of social issues. The aim of this article is to verify whether the observed relationship in selected, primarily political issues are valid even in the case of the Czech republic. Among the issues studied here are xenophobia and ethnocentrism, relationship to the environment, voting behaviour, freedom, equality, and a just society.
