AnnotationWe have studied feasibility to affect degradation behavior of biodegradable polyesters PLA and PCL by introduction of the silicate filler in the polymer matric. Layered silicates are supposed to affect mechanical properties of the polyester matrix as well as diffusion and catalytic process during the hydrolytic degradation.
