To study the process of genome diploidisation, we examined genetic changes in synthetic allopolyploids and natural allopolyploids of different age. In synthetic allopolyploids we observed rDNA amplification, and homogenisation, deletion of retroelements and tandem repeats and genome translocations. In natural allopolyploids (section Repandae, 5 My) there is considerable, or near complete genome turnover.
Za účelem studia diploidizace genomu jsme zkoumali genetické změny u syntetických a přirozených různě starých allopolyploidních druhů. U syntetických allopolyploidů jsme pozorovali amplifikaci a homogenizaci rDNA, deleci retroelementů a tandemových repeticí a translokace genomů. U přirozených allopolyploidů (sekce Repandae, 5 mil. let) došlo k téměř úplné změně genomu.
