The effect of an external excitation on a circular impinging jet flow is studied experimentally. The hot-wire anemometry is used to investigate velocity fields in the flow configuration characterized by a moderate air velocity (Re = 10 000) and a small nozzle-to-plate spacing (H/D = 2).
