We have built a model which illustrates how, and under what conditions, an independent certifier might mitigate the principal-agent problem in fundraising. Our results seem to rationalize the stylized facts of certification systems that we have identified.

Vytvořili jsme model, který ukazuje jak a za jakých podmínek může nezávislá certifikační instituce zmírnit problém principála-agenta v rámci získávání prostředků. Naše výsledky zdůvodňují stylizovaná fakta o certifikačních systémech, které jsme identifikovali.
