AnnotationThe International Law Commission is the United Nations body which has as its object the promotion of the progressive development of international law and its codification. This contribution aims at presenting mainly the results of its work completed this year, as well as on-going work and some new topics. The session of the ILC in 2016 had again a very demanding programme, both in the number of topics discussed and in the adopted final products. The Commission addressed not less than 9 different topics, which was probably the highest number in its history.
