Příspěvek je věnován problematice sídel, která na českém území zanikla po roce 1945, a zabývá se možnostmi jejich zkoumání, dokumentace a prezentace v dočasných či stálých muzejních expozicích. Prezentované výsledky a témata vycházejí především ze zkušeností získaných v rámci interdisciplinárního projektu, který zkoumal novodobá opuštěná sídla na území Moravy a Slezska z pohledu historiků, krajinářů a informatiků a vytvořil na toto téma putovní výstavu.

The contribution is devoted to the issue of settlements that disappeared in the Czech territory after 1945 and deals with the possibilities of their investigation, documentation and presentation in temporary or permanent museum exhibitions. The presented results and topics are mainly based on the experience gained during an interdisciplinary project, which examined modern-day abandoned settlements in the territory of Moravia and Silesia from the perspective of historians, landscape designers and computer scientists and created a touring exhibition on this topic.
