Studie na příkladu volebního zápasu F. L. Riegra do zemského sněmu představuje podrobnosti volebního systému 2. poloviny 19. století. Zajímá se o proměnu předvolební kampaně, samotného volebního aktu po celé dlouhé období politického života F. L. Riegra. Autor zároveň poukázal na změnu postoje k volbě samotného Vůdce národa, který neměl vždy svůj triumf jistý.

The study presents electoral system in the 2nd half of the 19th century by the way of example of election battles F. L. Rieger’s to the provincial deputy. The text deals with modification of election campaign, election itself during long period of Rieger’s political live. The author also explains how was the attitude of the Leader of the Nation to the elections changed, who’s triumph wasn’t certain always.
