V současnosti prosazované obnovitelné zdroje energie budou hrát v energetice důležitou roli, avšak jadernou energetiku nemohou nahradit. Energetické využití jaderné fúze umožní, aby jaderná energetika dosáhla úplné bezpečnosti jaderných zdrojů a zbavila se dlouhodobého radioaktivního odpadu. Description in English Nuclear energy is the energy source with the potential to effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions and thus slow global warming. Renewable energy sources, currently being promoted, will play an important role in the energy sector, but cannot replace nuclear power. Fusion power will enable the nuclear power industry to achieve full safety of nuclear sources and to get rid of long-term radioactive waste.
