Kapitola v knize shrnuje nejnovější poznatky terénního výzkumu raně gotické sakrální architektury ve východních Čechách. Nově formuluje vztahy proměny architektury vesnických kostelů k závěrům IV. Lateránského koncilu a kolonizaci okrajových oblastí Čech. Podrobně sleduje souvislosti mezi společensko-historickým vývojem českých zemí a stylovým vývojem sakrálních staveb na příkladu 12 podrobně prozkoumaných objektů.

The chapter in the book summarizes the latest findings of field research of early Gothic sacral architecture in Eastern Bohemia. It reformulates the relations between the transformation of the architecture of village churches and the conclusions of IV. Lateran Council in Rome and the colonization of the peripheral areas of Bohemia. It monitors in detail the connections between the socio-historical development of the Czech lands and the stylistic development of sacral buildings on the example of 12 objects examined in detail.
