Annotation
Symbolem počátků mobilní doby byla železnice, symbolem individuální mobility byl a je automobil. Automobil znamenal a stále znamená především naplnění ideálu volnosti a je symbolem ovládnutí prostoru. V momentě zmasovění automobilismu bylo nutno tuto individuální svobodu (rozhodovat autonomně o své mobilitě ve veřejném prostoru) omezovat nikoliv tohoto práva se svobodně rozhodnout, ale v způsobu chování na této cestě.

The symbol of the beginnings of mobile time was the railway, a symbol of individual mobility was the automobile. Automobile meant and still means primarily the fulfillment of the ideal of freedom and a symbol of the domination of space. At the moment of the massification of the automobile, it was necessary that individual freedom (not to decide autonomously on their mobility in public space) to restrict, but in the manner of behavior on the road.
