The paper summarizes a set of non-standard methodologies for testing mechanical and some
physical characteristics of stones and mortars modified with consolidation treatments. Substrate
qualities, specimen specifications and test methods are briefly described in the full paper.
The methodology is further affected by susceptibility of the treatment agents.
