Monografie se zabývá ideou harmonie z hlediska trojí časové perspektivy. Idea harmonie je analyzována v kontextu díla Jana Amose Komenského a v kontextu děl jeho současníků. Dále pak, monografie se zaměřuje se k reflexi Komenského v dílech českých filosofů Vladimíra Hoppeho, Jana Patočky a Radima Palouše. Zamýšlí se nad problémem aktuálnosti Komenského myšlenek o harmonii.

The monograph deals with the idea of harmony in three perspectives. The idea of harmony is analysed in the context of the work of Jan Amos Comenius and in the context of the works of his contemporaries. Besides, the monograph focused on the reflection of Comenius in the works of the Czech philosopher Vladimír Hoppe, Jan Patočka and Radim Palouš. Issue of the importance of the idea of harmony for the present-day is also discussed.
