Na osnovu rezultata vlastitih istraživanja usmene tradicije, vršenih tokom nekoliko decenija među decom u gradskoj i seoskoj sredini u Češkoj Republici , autor u radu posebno osvetljava dve najvitalnije forme usmene tradicije (verbalnog folklora) savremene dece: humorističke stihove (među kojima se posebno ističu rugalice) i numinozne doživljaje – strašne priče (horore).

In the children’s world, the communication proceeds in a variety of forms differing from the communication of adults. Humorous and mocking verses, various rhymes, slogans, sayings, inscriptions of walls, roads, or pedestrian ways create a special form of contact.
