Aim of this review was to analyze the effects of natural polyphenols (derivatives of stilbene - resveratrol, pterostilbene, pinosylvin and piceatannol, derivatives of ferulic acid - curcumin, N-feruloylserotonin) on some key processes of resolution of inflammation mainly activity and apoptosis of neutrophils. In addition, the review presents preclinical information about co-administered therapy using natural polyphenols in in vivo model of rheumatoid arthritis.
