Výsledky analýzy vlivu vzdušných polutantů na frekvenci mikrojader (MN) u skupiny 178 matek a jejich novorozenců z různě znečištěných lokalit ČR (České Budějovice vs Praha). Získané výsledky ukazují různou citlivost na různé směsi karcinogenních polutantů, stejně tak jako na vliv faktorů životního stylu. Významný vliv na zvýšenou frekvenci MN a nižší porodní hmotnost novorozenců mělo kouření matek v průběhu těhotenství.

Results of the study of the effect of exposure to air pollutants on the frequency of micronuclei (MN) in a group of 178 mothers and their newborns from two locations in the Czech Republic with different pollution (České Budějovice vs. Prague). Obtained results show the different sensitivity of studied group to various mixtures of carcinogenic pollutants, as well the impact of the lifestyle factors. Also mother´s smoking during pregnancy had significant effect on the elevated frequency of MN and on the lower birth weight.
