Contribution presents the first results dealing with problem of brownfields within the framework of the grant project. Some objects, called brownfields, are subjects of the architectural, historical and cultural attention. Only few of them serve the educational function and are in the good condition. The most of brownfields regardless its origin and former function are abandoned and exposed to growing damages.
