    Polystyrene (PS)/multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNT) nanocomposites were prepared by melt mixing and by coagulation of PS/MWCNT sonicated dispersion. Microemulsion polymerization was carried out in the presence of surfactants and a cross-linking agent. The structure distribution of MWNT filler was revealed by SEM and TEM microscopy analyses. The creep response of the nanocomposite shifts to longer times not only in the Tg area, but as low as 70°C below it.

    Nanokompozita polystyren/karbonové nanotrubice (PS/MWNT) byla vyrobena koagulací z PS/MWNT sonifikované disperze. Mikroemulzní polymerace proběhla v přítomnosti surfaktantů a síťujících činidel. Struktura rozložení MWNT plniva byla analyzována SEM a TEM technikou. Měření pevnosti za krípového namáhání ukázalo posun do oblasti delších časů nejen nad teplotou skelného přechodu, ale i 70°C pod touto teplotou.
