Příspěvek analyzuje Suárezovu koncepci transcendentální jednoty a mnohosti v jeho Metafyzických disputacích. Vychází z Aristotelovy aporie, podle níž jsoucno na straně jedné je konvertibilní s jedním, na straně druhé však je jeho hlavním dělícím členem. Ve studii je představeno Suárezovo řešení, které do značné míry čerpá ze scotistické metafyziky.

The paper analyses Suarez's conception of transcendental unity and multitude in his Metaphysical disputations. The conception comes out of Aristotle's apory, according to which on the one hand being is convertible with the One and on the other it is its main dividing member. The study presents Suarez's solution, which draws significantly from scotistic metaphysics.
