Inbred C57BL/6 mice are susceptible to a monosodium glutamate (MSG) obesity and a diet-induced obesity (DIO), containing 60 % calories as fat, whereas outbred NMRI mice are more prone to MSG than DIO obesity compared with C57BL/6 mice.
Inbrední myši z kmene C57BL/6 jsou náchylné k obezitě vyvolané glutamátem sodným a vysokotučnou dietou obsahující 60 % tuku. Na rozdíl od myší z kmene C57BL/6, outbrední myši z linie NMRI jsou náchylnější k obezitě vyvolané glutamátem sodným než k obezitě vyvolané vysokotučnou dietou.
