    The behaviour of the Čerenkov regime SHG conversion efficiency in planar waveguides is numerically investigated with respect to the propagation length. The variations of the propagation length dependence from linear to quadratic are analysed for three-layer planar waveguides as the function of the guide thickness and the pump wavelength.
