AnnotationParticulate emissions from Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) has been studied during last several years (Smolík et al. 1992, 2000). Simultaneously, influence of calcareous sorbents, used for sulfur dioxide removal, on toxic metal emissions was investigated. Recently of AFBC boiler was rebuilt to Atmospheric Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustor (ACFBC). The objective of this work is to compare the earlier results obtained using AFBC with new results from the ACFBC boiler.
