Annotation	The effect of acute diabetes mellitus and ischemia on expression and activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) in rat myocardium was investigated.Obtained results indicate that MAPKs signaling cascades might play a role and contribute to the changes in the myocardium caused by acute diabetes mellitus and ischemia.
