The aim of our study was to compare uranium uptake of Armoracia rusticana L. under different cultivation conditions. The obtained results have shown that the presence of phosphates in MS medium supported the growth and increased amount of uranium in hairy root culture of Armoracia rusticana L. Higher concentration of uranium caused decrease of growth in both types of MS media (with or without phosphate) but the uranium uptake was the highest.

Cílem naší cesty byloporovnání příjmu uranu kořenovou kulturou Armoracia rusticana L. při různých kultivačních podmínkách. Z výsledků je zřejmé, že fosfáty přítomné v médiu podporují růst kořenové kultury a zároveň zvyšují množství uranu přijaté kulturou. Vyšší koncentrace uranu sice zapříčinila špatný růst kultury, ale množství uranu v kultuře bylo nejvyšší.
