Filament is fed through a moving heated printer head and is deposited on the growing work. It can produce models made of
thermoplastic materials. Both the equipment needed for production and the filaments needed for printing are relatively cheap. The possibility of inspection of 3D printed samples using ultrasonic
nondestructive nonlinear methods was studied. 3D printed samples made of PLA with defined cavities were tested using a number of ultrasonic nonlinear elastic wave spectroscopy methods.Workplace Institute of Thermomechanics Contact Marie Kajprová, kajprova@it.cas.cz, Tel.: 266 053 154 ; Jana Lahovská, jaja@it.cas.cz, Tel.: 266 053 823 Year of Publishing 2020
