Přednáška pro studenty vysvětlila současný právní status zvířat podle občanského zákoníku a podle předpisů na ochranu zvířat proti týrání, zamýšlela se nad současnými trendy v právní ochraně zvířat a nad možným budoucím postavením zvířat v západní společnosti, která je vůči jejich utrpení čím dál citlivější.Description in English The lecture for students of social sciences explained the current legal status of animals in the Czech Civil Code and in the Czech anti-cruelty laws, introduced the recent trends in the legal protection of animals and considered the possible future position of animals in the Western society, which is increasingly sensitive to animal suffering.
