Článek se zabývá historií nejstaršího spolku českých advokátů v období první Československé republiky. Tento spolek vznikl na konci 19. století, jeho první členové byli advokáti české národnosti v rakousko-uherské monarchii. Spolek změnil v letech 19119-1938 název na Jednota československých advokátů v Praze. Byla to vůdčí skupina advokátů v nezávislém československém státě, která publikovala časopis Česká advokacie a strážila základní hodnoty advokátské profese. Jeho členové byli aktivní v advokátních komorách, v občanské společnosti a v demokratických orgánech Československé republiky.
Description in English
The article deals with the history of the oldest association of the Czech advocates in the period of the first Czechoslovak republic. This association has been created in the end of the 19th century, its first members were the advocates of the Czech nationality in the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy. The association changed the name in the period 1919-1938 to Union of the Czechoslovak advocates in Prague. It was the leading group of the advocacy in the independent Czechoslovak state, publishing the revue Česká advokacie (Czech Advocacy) and guarding the core values of the legal profession. Its members were active in bar associations, in civil society and in the democratic organs of the Czechoslovak republic.
