The first conference Dynamics of Machines was organised in 1958. Shortly after thanks to the Czech-Polish ( then Czechoslovak-Polish) collaboration the conference organization was handed to Poland and the first Polish conference was held Cracow in 1965. The history of Interaction and Feedbacks started in 1994. Since 2015, the two conferences are organized jointly as DYMAMESI. Since 2017 the Conference is organised interchangeably in Cracow and Prague. In 2017, for the first time the Colloquium will host a new session called Power Engineering.
