Článek poukazuje na neznámou (či zapomenutou) souvislost mezi příjmením Švejk a výukou fyziky na Vojenské akademii v Hranicích na Moravě v době první republiky. Dále je rozveden devadesát let starý popis měření rychlosti střel do mnoha detailů a souvislostí.

The paper refers to the unknown (or forgotten) connection between the famous surname Švejk (from a Hašek's book The Fateful Advantures of the Good Soldier Švejk During the World War) and the teaching of physics at the Czechoslovak Military Academy.
