Kniha obsahuje moderní kritickou edici významného filozofického spisu De Luce mentium et ejus imagine Valeriána Magniho, která je založena na vydání z r. 1645 (Vídeň) s různočteními z vydání z let 1642 (Řím) a 1643 (Antverpy). Edici pořídila M. Klosová za spolupráce J. Bartoně. Paralelně s latinským textem je otištěn český překlad M. Klosové. T. Nejeschleba je autorem komentářů a úvodní studie, v níž interpretuje toto originální dílo v širším historickém a filosofickém kontextu.

The book provides a modern critical edition of Magni's work De Luce mentium et eius imagine, based on the edition of 1645 (Vienna) and compared with the editions of 1642 (Rome) and 1643 (Antwerp), and the Czech translation. The edition was prepared by M. Klosová in cooperation with J. Bartoň. The Latin text was translated by M. Klosová. T. Nejeschleba authored annotations and an introductory study which interprets this important work within its historical and philosophical context.
