Weights and criteria importances in decision making are reflected by the relevant modification of aggregation operators playing the role of value (utility) functions. Quantitative and qualitative approaches are discussed. A new method based on defuzzification of fuzzy quantities is proposed. Finally, OWAO (Ordered Weighted Aggregation Operators) are introduced.
