Půdní pH je jedním ze zásadních regulačních faktorů denitrifikace. Výsledky studie ukázaly, že velikost denitrifikačního společenstva souvisí s výskytem jednotlivých genů pro důležité reduktázy. Půdní pH přitom ovlivňuje denitrifikaci skrze různé charakteristiky.

Soil pH is one of most important factors of regulation of denitrification and N₂O emissions. Results showed that the size of denitrifying community is correlated with the amount of various genes encoding individual reductases. Soil pH influences denitrification through different parameters.
