The textbook aims to provide basic information on application of genetical, cytogenetical, biochemical and molecular methods in the research of phylogeny, systematics, ecology and behaviour of animals. The detailed protocols of individual techniques are included as well as examples of original case studies. The textbook can be used by undergraduate and graduate students of zoology.
